The climatic health resort Bernau is located on the southwest shore of Lake Chiemsee at the foot of the Chiemgau Alps. So if you want to get up the mountain before breakfast, this is the place to be. But also lowland Indians can spend their vacations here with confidence: To the east of Bernau am Chiemsee lies an extensive high moorland landscape, which is ideally suited for hiking and cycling. Visiting the castle or just strolling around Herreninsel is always an experience - best off the carriage route around the island and then to the castle inn at the pier. You can take the steamer directly in Bernau (about 3 km to the pier) or from Prien or Gstadt, there the port is served more often.

The Frauninsel with monastery - an idyll - especially recommended in autumn or spring. You can easily walk around it and then sit on the jetty with a fish sandwich.

Electric boat for rent
If you want to get to know Lake Chiemsee, the best thing to do is to rent an electric boat and leisurely sail along the shore. Whether swimming or sunbathing, docking and going to the beer garden, it does not get boring so quickly. It's also great to take breakfast with you and be on the lake first thing in the morning. E-boats are rented in Bernau or Prien on the shore of Chiemsee.

Directly from the apartments Zeitraumferien it starts, a beautiful hike with a stop at Cafe Pauli after about 1.5 hours. An idyllic path through small hamlets with great views, also nice to ride with the bike.

we want to offer you an ambience beyond the Bavarian lederhosen and try to harmonize a simple design with modern vacation architecture and "gemütliches Gemäuer". Vacation apartments with upscale furnishings that make the vacation pleasant. Living fans like to vacation in architecturally sophisticated surroundings and pay attention to details in the vacation home. Zeitraumferien combines design, architecture and farmhouse ambience with the most beautiful vacation in Upper Bavaria.
The old "Beihaus" from the 18th century is a home to a large farmhouse. The old building structure has a special charm and consists of "Bachkugeln", large stones that were used for wall construction at that time. The roof truss in the hayloft is exposed and the old wooden floorboards are stripped. There are three vacation apartments in this cottage. One per floor - connected with a central staircase.
The extension was "placed" directly against the old cottage and is visually separated from the existing building by a glass strip. The former outer wall has been preserved and architecturally forms the new inner wall of the vacation home for two additional vacation apartments in the sense of sophisticated vacation architecture.

What equipment do the apartments have for our child?
During the vacations there are various highchairs in the area of the old building under the stairs - there is always something suitable. Please bring a crib if desired.
Are dogs allowed in the apartments?
Bringing four-legged friends is possible in the apartment Gesindezimmer and Magdkammer. However, the condition is that the dog (please only one) is well behaved and does not strike at every noise and disturb the other guests. Please take care that the animal does not run around freely in the garden, even under supervision. To "go for a walk" please use the dirt road (not the driveway) 20 meters away, outside the farm. Please do not leave the animal alone in the apartment..
Is it possible to arrive by train?
There is a train station in Bernau, which is about 15 min walk from the apartment (distance 1.5 km). If your luggage is too heavy, you should get off at the train station in Prien am Chiemsee and take a cab there (distance to Bernau 6 km).
Are there fixed days for arrival?
No, you can book as you wish. The minimum booking period is 2 nights.
Is the occupancy calendar of the apartments up to date?
Yes, we also use internally only this calendar - that's why the dates are always binding.
